Tackling content is no small job and we run through images like water these days. Between Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok and Pinterest we have to keep things fresh but work with what we have. Since we have been so busy with custom designs and have experienced some supply chain issues we decided to style the Madison dress again. But this time, we wanted to show it’s other side… how bridesmaids can rock this dress down the aisle and all the way to the reception!
The bridesmaid edit had a simple vision: spring romance. We wanted to highlight spring and summer weddings that are vibrant and feminine! Using the Madison gowns in Purple and Spring Rose we style them with nude heels and fresh water pearl + gold earrings (handmade by yours truly). Throw in some bright tulips with fresh faces and simple hairdos and we were ready to shoot!
Located in the heart of Jackson, Mississippi stands The Faulkner. An event venue that boasts 6 rooms and a rooftop with just the right mix of modern elegance and southern charm. We found this space just through a simple google search and immediately knew it was the perfect spot for a mini shoot.
Pictured in purple and spring rose the gowns were modeled by Laura Heard and Shemah Crosby from JEA Models. Taking cues to act like you are witnessing the bride walk down the aisle or have spotted the open bar for the first time we managed to capture some images that ring true to the big day.
The Madison dress features a strapless top with a curved neckline. This neckline gives it a subtle couture edge without bringing unwinding attention. Instead it provides a little extra coverage while warranting attention for its effortless chic energy. Paired with a fit and flare skirt, the dress accents your waist line showing off your perfect curves while having great movement in the skirt. Float as you walk down the aisle or twirl around the dance floor this dress is sure to show off how amazing you look!
The weather did not work in our favor. With over cast skies and the occasional shower we missed out on the rooftop shots we had envisioned but still managed to get some beautiful ones at that! The Faulkner has an amazing rooftop that is huge and overlooks the Capitol. Laura and Shemah pulled off looks that made it seem that they had just witnessed an amazing ceremony but in real time the dresses were soaking up water at the hem!
All in all, it was a fun few hours for a mini content shoot that got to show case the Madison gown all over again. Which we are happy to do anytime.
